Photography Nair FilmsThe Bag represents both a physical and an emotional burden. It constantly transforms and reflects this mental state through physical movement.
The bag is big, sometimes. It chafes, burns and squirms. It intertwines, and transforms; it is ambiguous and multidirectional, raw, cold, dry, heavy, unrestrained, authoritarian.
The bag weighs less, at other times. It also accompanies, hugs and soothes. Mentor and guide. It can even be empathetic, adaptable and light.
All the disparate bags, each one their own. All important. The bag is also you. It pushes you, wakes you up and sets you free.
Everything in your bag is important and wonderful.

Photography Nair FilmsMaialen and Maria met each other in 2021 through the Descalzinha Danza platform and started to create together, continuing this process via the “Materia” creative programme. By means of a contest organised by the Cultura Inquieta y Therapyside platform, they produced, together with the videographer "Nair Films", the conceptual video "El Saco", which received an award. This gave rise to the creation of the dual dance/performance "El Saco”, which was presented at the opening of the "La Galeria de Emociones", also organised by Cultura Inquieta y Therapyside.
