The art of not being, a poetic outline, a corporeal journey through the experience of dependence. A transition through the void, silence, automatism, stress, anxiety, emotions and feelings which tinge the mood of being.
A character and an object, the telephone, and a whole world ahead in which existence is intrinsically tied to necessity.
The telephone, a similarity towards all that which incites us to addiction and its relationship with the character, an allegory to the eternal taboo of solitude.
The company InPut was founded in 2012 with the objective and enthusiasm of promoting contemporary dance. The idea to bring this abstract concept of InPuT to the field of dance was to enrich our movement, finding inspiration in our surroundings and their impact on our body.
InPut’s work focuses on varied themes, seeking to create different situations, landscapes and scenes through which to travel within singular characters and bodies which are born in each process. A work focused on exploring more deeply the feelings and intuition of each performer.
Aiala Etxegarai took charge of the company in 2014 and since then she has worked with an different artistic team on each project. The following have collaborated with InPut as performers: Edoardo Ramirez, Andreina Insausti, Isabela Rossi, Miquel Gonzalez, Alba De Miguel, Alba Vergne, Gonzalo Peguero, Natalia G. Muro, Denis Martinez and Mar Garcia.
