LA INTRUSA is a contemporary artistic creation company formed in 1996 by Virginia García and Damián Muñoz, artists and creative directors.
They create, direct and produce stage and audio-visual projects.
They collaborate with different national and international artists in different disciplines.
They have presented their creations at different national and international theatres and festivals, such as the Downtown Dance Festival in New York, the International Northern, North-Western and Centre West Festivals in Mexico, the Viva Dança Festival in Brazil, the International GREC Festival in Barcelona, the International Madrid Dance Festival and Mercat de les Flors in Barcelona, among others.
They have been commissioned to create stage productions for national and international companies such as Carte Blanche, the National Company of Contemporary Dance in Norway, Delfos Danza in Mexico, Aretha Maciel in Brazil, Kukai Dantza in the Basque Country of Spain, among others.
They collaborate as movement advisers in theatrical works directed by well-known directors.
They teach courses and workshops in prestigious national and international choreography schools and centres.
They received prizes at the national and international level for both their stage and audio-visual creations.
2015 National Dance Award and 2009 Max Award for Best Male Performer.
