A no man’s land is a territory which does not belong to any country or person. Starting from this idea, we propose the space between one body and another as a space which is neither yours nor mine but at the same time belongs to us both. We propose an exploration of this place, which is a dream world but one made of real things; it is a non-place, influenced by the depths of the ocean, the nature that surrounds us and that which lives within us as a metaphor for the journey towards the depth of oneself.
Tierra de Nadie speaks of beginnings and endings, of distances, of the different bodies which make up one body and the relationships between them, it speaks of unwritten rules, of margins and shores, of encounters and disagreements, it speaks of skins, of leaving skin behind, of the ocean, its apnoeae and currents, the desire to leave and not return, it speaks of limits, containment. But above all, Tierra de Nadie speaks of the body, of the body and its nature and the politics between bodies. Because to whom does the body belong?
“Tierra de nadie” is dance, voice, live music, poetical atmospheres, strange bodies, evocative sounds and women who are also animals.

In 2005 I began creating staged pieces, but as I have matured artistically, I also work in video-dance, performance, installation and narrative, publishing in 2015 the book Destrucción Mutua Asegurada.
I teach classes and have managed different cultural spaces as well as producing the Noviembre Kulturala festival, Lutxana-Bizkaia.
My works are always based on the body with materials such as: manipulation, everyday acts, gestures, risk, ugly bodies… I use improvisation and text both on stage and as a tool to choreograph.
They have been shown both nationally and internationally (the Basque Country, Navarre, Catalonia, Cuenca, France, England, Brazil, Egypt, the USA…).
I am currently manage the Espacio Punto de Fuga and form part, alongside Jemima Cano, of DOOS Colectivo, founded by both of us in 2011.
