“Cosa” is the piece which closes my trilogy on ILLUSIONISM, an investigation which has led me to think how illusion connects the essence with the theatrical, presenting on stage convention and magic, reality and its double, action and fiction. This investigation, which began in 2017, has brought with it the pieces !AY! YA! (2018), an enquiry into perceptual images thought from the body, and “The Watching Machine” (2020), an exploration of perceptual images thought from light, shadow and reflection.
On this occasion, in “COSA. Intervenir un cuerpo”, we examine perceptive images from the stage perspective. To do so, we have thought about the body as just one more material, materialising it until it becomes a prop.
Cosa is a dance piece composed by an object-based dance group. The choreography of things.
